Goal

Creating of conditions for protection and restoration of priority habitats and species of flora and fauna within the Nature Park Vrachanski Balkan.

• Implementation of pilot projects for protecting and improving the status of endangered plant and animal species and endangered habitats of European importance on the park territory;

  • Implementation of Pilot Project "Plants" for protection of endangered species;
  • Implementation of Pilot Project "Habitats" for protection of endangered habitats;
• Joint work with the stakeholders and the local population;

Place of the project implementation: Protected Areas: Nature Park Vrachanski Balkan, the nature landmarks - NL Ledenika, NL”Temnata dupka", the town of Vratsa and 10 villages with lands within the territory of the park, Municipalities Vratsa, Mezdra, Svoge, Krivodol and Varshets, Districts Sofia, Vratsa, Montana.
